Update and correction: The Guardian has, since I wrote this original post based on the Daily Mail, reported that the two women’s complaints to Swedish police centered on the alleged misuse of or failure to use condoms, which can be illegal in Sweden.

You’ll note she makes no reference to one of the accusations being that Assange began to have sex with one of the women while she was asleep. Not at all, in fact she focuses in on the non use of the condom, wording it in such a way that it seems to take away all the severity of the accusations. This is nothing short of further proof that Naomi Wolf is absolutely dedicated to framing this situation in any way the portrays Julian Assange as a saint. Afterall this is the same Naomi Wolf who called this case a perfect example of negotiated consent. It is extremely sad to see such a well known feminist use every trick in the book to disparage the accusations and the women who made them, she has very much thrown feminism under a bus in the name of defending Julian Assange.
